Canning Hunger in Omaha

We are serving God and God's children by feeding hungry people and providing nutrition to those who need proper nutrition. Our dream is to end hunger in Omaha.

Since our worship launch September 10th, 2007, we have collected over three tons of food and delivered the food to our ministry partner, Together Omaha, so they can distribute food to the people who need it most. Thanks to all who have generously given and collected food so far. Know that your gift will feed a person in the Omaha area.

Each Sunday you will have the opportunity to participate in this ministy by bringing a bag of groceries to worship at The Water's Edge. Simply pick up a one or more of our grocery bags with the information about what kind of food to put in the bag and bring the bag back the next Sunday.
